Ned Jr. and the entire Mathias family, please accept my sincere condolences. I knew your father from his time as Institutional Inspector and Jaycee Advisor at SCI. I was an inmate, President of the Ridgeview Jaycees chapter from 87-89 and had great respect for "Mr. Mathias". "You propose and we dispose" he would always say when we came up with an idea to raise funds for this or that. He and Delores always came to our yearly banquets and both were greatly missed upon his retirement from SCI. A man more fair and even-handed never entered those gates. He earned every bit of respect he received and more. May God bless.
